Rx for the Kitchen

Yesterday I attended a Provident Living Group on Home-Made Cleaning Agents. I learned how to make my own laundry detergent, baby wipes & that vinegar & baking soda are great multi-purpose cleaners. There is a connection to more of what was discovered in my side bar under Blogs I love to steal from... Provident Living.

Here are a few that I tried...

For an easy-to-clean oven and stove top, sprinkle with baking soda, then mist with water. Let soak, wipe clean.

Soaking burned casserole dishes? Add an old dryer sheet and let soak overnight. Wash and rinse clean.

For brilliant shine on faucets, buff with olive or vegetable oil using a dry rag. Rinse oil with club soda and wipe dry.

Now if I could only find a cleaning agent for my toughest job...cleaning Max after meal-time.

Decorate Del Monte

From this...

to this!!!

This is a super fun & easy way to personalize a gift! Plus the recipient in awe says,
"How'd you do that?"

This is how...
1. Make sure that you buy a flip top can.
2. Take ENTIRE Bottom off (You need a special kind of can opener that can take the lid off by going around the perimeter from the outer edge)
3. Decorate...choose scrapbook paper to fit the occasion ie. Birthday, Valentines, Chirstmas
4. Place Gift Inside
5. Place Paper between gift & lid (to protect lid from glue)
6. Super Glue Lid
7. Give your gift & get lots of praise for your creativity!!!;)

Oh, yeah...the recipent is soo excited they don't even notice the size of the gift.;)
